Special  Parish Council Meeting

Cotes Heath & Standon Community Centre

Wednesday 13th August 2025 – 7.30pm

A Planning Application has been submitted to Stafford Borough Council for a large solar farm to be located on farmland off Newcastle Road in Cotes Heath. The Planning Department at Stafford Borough Council will consider this application. They have set 25th August as the deadline for any comments to be received, for those comments either in support of or opposition to this development to be considered.

The purpose of this special meeting is to provide you with the facts and details of the development and to promote awareness to the community as widely as possible. Your opinions are extremely important as this is a significant planning issue that needs to be addressed by the Parish Council, the community and the residents of Standon, Cranberry and Cotes Heath.  If the proposed development receives consent, it will have a significant impact on our community.

This is your opportunity to come and find out just what the Cotes Heath Solar Scheme will mean to you and our community.

Next meeting: Tuesday 9th September 2025 7.30 pm at All Saints School, Church Lane, Standon

The public and press are cordially invited to attend this meeting
